The Forks 7) - The west-side planter, facing the Forks Market in 1992 featuring Narrow Leaved Sunflower, Black Eyed Susan, Philadelphia Fleabane, Yellow Coneflower, Awned Wheatgrass & Canada Wild Rye. The site has been redeveloped since then and additional prairie plantings have been made here & elsewhere at The Forks. Visitors & residents alike can now experience a part of Manitoba's beautiful original tall grass prairie at this national historic site where Winnipeg first started.
