Prairie Habitats Inc'.s FELSS lets you harvest seeds or leaves from a wide array of species. Custom built with attention to detail to match your tractor loader, our FELSS are easy to mount, use and unload. The patented dual-stage brush effectively combs the seed off plants, while the rotation sets up an airflow that pulls the seed into the hopper.

Front End Loader Seed Strippers from Prairie Habitats Inc:

Mounts on standard 4 pin front end loader arms of varying widths.

Hydraulic tilt & lift, your choice of motor or hydraulic brush drive.

Requires ~ 50 hp tractor with loader.

Operates from just above ground level to the maximum safe operating height of the loader.

8 ft (2.4 m) stripping width.

Fully screened hopper top with adjustable internal baffle ensures effective air flow & seed harvesting.

Dual stage, long lasting nylon stripper brush efficiently strips the seed, leaving stalks and straw standing.

Harvests a wide variety of seeds from grasses, wildflowers, legumes, herbs, spices, forages, shrubs, & special crops.

Also harvests leaves & flowers from medicinal plants, spices & herbs.

Simple to maintain, only 2 bearings to grease every 25 hours of operation.

Rugged construction of galvanized sheet, painted plate & tubular steel.

Hopper capacity ~ 30 cu ft (0.85 cu m), quickly unloads with bottom dump door from tractor seat.

Quick payback period - can pay for itself in one season or less.

Made to order - orders confirmed by January 31 will be ready for that year's field season. Orders placed at other times depend upon shop fabrication schedules.
