Dense, spectacular, feathery spikes of purple, many per plant in mid to late summer. A breath- taking compliment to any garden, Dotted Blazing- stars do best in full sun on dry to medium soils. A great rock garden plant. Grows to 12" (30cm) high. Nicely goes with Prairie Crocus, 3 Flowered Avens, Blue Grama, Sheep Fescue, Cut Leaved & Long Fruited Anemone.
