Green Needle Grass
(Stipa viridula)

Also called feather bunch grass, this 2-3ft (60 - 90cm) showy native grass does well in dry to moderately moist sites. Very beautiful & resilient, this species can be found on SW Manitoba's mixed grass prairie. Goes well with Canada Wild Rye, Beautiful Sunflower, Long Fruited Anemone, Purple Prairie Clover, Blue Grama & Little Bluestem.
