A beautiful, rare, silvery-leafed shrub with metallic blue flowers tipped with gold in early summer. Pioneer settlers called it "Prairie Shoestring" after the audible twang it made as the plough cut through it. They also thought that it grew over deposits of lead ore. Up to 2' (60cm) high. Partial shade tolerant. Dry to medium soils. Price: Garden Seed Package $3.50 |
