Narrow Leaved Sunflower
(Helianthus maximiliani)

Tall (to 6.5' or 2m) showy native sunflower blooms mid summer. Edible seeds are a favourite food of goldfinches. Full sun on medium to moist soils. Makes an excellent tall border, especially when mixed with Canada Wild Rye, Big Bluestem & Indian Grass.
